Joseph works on metascience and science-policy advocacy. He has nearly a decade of experience in science communication and editing, including as an editor at the Institute for Progress, and previously as head of communications at Convergent Research and a communications director at Ginkgo Bioworks.
Joseph leads Beyond the Ivory Tower, a Templeton-funded public-writing programme for academics at Wake Forest University, holds a JD from CUNY School of Law, and degrees from Northeastern University and Cornell University.
