
Leonardo is Arq's Chief Growth Officer. He is responsible for scaling the organisation and its impact, and for building a new field at the intersection of transformative AI and European progress. He is an Adjunct Professor at Sciences Po, Paris, and a Visiting Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Previously, Leonardo was chief of staff of the European Political Strategy Centre, the European Commission President's in-house think tank. At Amazon Web Services, he founded and led the United Nations Global Account, the AWS Institute, and launched the AWS Center for Quantum Networking and a first-of-its-kind partnership with Harvard. He advises public institutions and startups at the intersection of geopolitics, strategy, and technology.
His work has been featured by Bloomberg, the World Economic Forum, the Aspen Institute, the BMW Foundation, and Schmidt Futures. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford.
